STREET RATZ

(2020)

Street Ratz follows the adventure of Tal as they escape the mega city underworld to reunite with their mother at the top. With the help of the head of their robot friend, they will make their way to the top while being chased by Zhu.

Street Ratz was made at Escape Studios, I created the original pitch and storyboard as part of the Storyboard & Previs MA course. It was then picked up by a group in the BA/MArt course. I was given the role of Creative Director on Street Ratz and I oversaw the process from concept art, to music, to the final animated production.

A freelance project I worked on. Following the director’s initial boards and notes, I had to produce boards with improved compositions and actions while also giving animators the flexibility and opportunity to do their own thing.

While working at Escape Studios, I was approached by a group to do the boards and animatic for their animated final project. While provided a script, I was given the freedom to add shots and jokes when it fit the story.
